Description
Seeeduino V4.2 is based on the Arduino UNO bootloader, and with an ATMEGA16U2 as a UART-to-USB converter, which means that the board can basically work like an FTDI chip. You can program the board via a micro-USB cable. Also, you can power the board via a DC Jack input, 7 to 15V is acceptable. There’s a switch to choose the system supply voltage, 3.3V or 5V, which is very useful if you want to set the system to 3.3V to save power.
We have dedicated our time to help you get started with this sensor quickly and easily. Try the step-by-step example code to quickly get started with clear codes. We also collected 20 Awesome Arduino Projects in the community to help you get started if you do not know what to do with Seeeduino V4.2 when you first get it in hands.
Grove makes it easier to connect, experiment, and simplify the prototyping process. No jumpers or soldering required. We have developed more than 300 Grove modules, covering a wide range of applications that can fulfill a variety of needs. Not only are these open hardware, but we also have open-source software.
Finally, please also check Arduino Boards Selection Guide to compare processor, operating voltage, input voltage, clock speed, digital I/O, PWM, analog inputs, UART, Grove connectors, flash memory, and USB connectors for different Arduino boards!
Attention
Operating the chip at 16 MHz with 3.3 volts is beyond the specified maximum frequency ‘Safe Operating Area’ for the ATmga328P chip. So when you switch the working voltage to 3.3V, it may not be safe. However, at room temperature, most chips work fine that way.
